Podfather Stirling 10k with 3.5k and 2k fun runs
Central Athletics Club stages the 25th Podfather Stirling 10k on 06 Sep 2026 at The Peak at Stirling Sports Village, FK7 7UJ. The event includes a main road race and two youth fun runs.

- 10 km
- 3.5 km for ages 10 to 14
- 2 km for ages 5 to 9
The course follows the traditional 10 km route and passes views of Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills. Roads on the route are not fully closed. Only bone conducting headphones are permitted. Running with a dog or pushing a buggy is not allowed.
Race day features include designated pacers with target times, a piper on the route, cheerleading at two points, course music, a half way clock for 5 km split time, instructor led warm up, free pre and post race massage, bouncy castles and face painting, and a goody bag for all finishers. Runners may choose a race t shirt or have a tree planted in their name.
Prizes total over £2000 with awards for the top five male and female finishers and age group categories, plus a course record bonus. A 50p donation from each entry will go to Beatson Cancer Charity.
Entry information notes that 10 km race numbers are posted in advance while fun run numbers are collected on the day. Entries are non transferable and non refundable. An optional insurance purchase is available to cover withdrawal before race day. Entry closing dates differ by race.
