The Pocantico Hills Races take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Tarrytown, NY (1 Rockwood Road, 10591). The event offers the following distances and entry options:
- Marathon - Run and Walk : price $107 (includes $7 fee)
- Half Marathon - Run or Walk : price $80.50 (includes $5.50 fee)
- Charity bib options - Marathon and Half Marathon (same prices as above)
Registration opens January 1, 2026. The race location is listed as Rockwood Hall in the park preserve.
Course and location
Both the half marathon and marathon are single-loop courses that are almost entirely on wide groomed carriage roads. The marathon visits many parts of the park preserve and offers views of the Hudson River and the Palisades from the Rockwood Hall area. The course has significant climbs and rolling terrain, and it passes fields, stone walls, bridges, grazing livestock, rivers, forests and lakes. The course is off Route 9 in Sleepy Hollow, next to Phelps Hospital. There is no pavement and no cars on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
