Events
The event offers several running and walking events:
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Run (1K, for participants 12 & under)
- Tot Trot (100 yards, for participants 5 & under)
- Virtual 5/10K
Course and Timing
The 5K and 10K courses are USATF-certified. The route includes La Palma Avenue and the Santa Ana River Trail within Yorba Regional Park. Both the 5K and 10K events feature chip timing. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, and medals are awarded to the top three runners in 18 age categories.
Location and Schedule
The event takes place at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim on Thanksgiving Day. The main event staging is at the park's west end near the softball fields. A preliminary schedule indicates a 10K start at 7:00 AM, a 5K start at 8:00 AM, and the kids' events starting at 9:00 AM. Parking inside the park may require a fee, and heavy traffic is expected on race morning.
Extras
Participants in the 5K and 10K receive a shirt and a custom finisher medal. There is a finish-line festival with activities like a costume contest and live music. Team registrations are available for groups of eight or more. Packet pick-up options are available on the days leading up to the event.
