Pleasant Creek Trail Run
Pleasant Creek Trail Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026 in Palo, IA. The event is organized by the Eastern Iowa Trail Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and this is the twelfth running of the race.

The course uses Pleasant Creek’s outer loop equestrian trail, which is a 15K loop. All distances run clockwise and return to the start area after each loop. Trails are primarily dirt and grass with possible small water crossings and rolling hills. Strollers and pets are not allowed on the course.
Awards and prizes are given to top overall male and female finishers in each distance and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups 29 & under, 30-45, and 46+. Top overall winners receive a cash payout and free registration to next year; additional payouts and record bonuses apply by distance. Timing services are provided by OnlineRaceResults with results posted on the timing website.
Parking is directed to the Pleasant Creek Beach grass field; participants should follow volunteer instructions and avoid parking on grass elsewhere. Online registration closes before the event and there is no day-of registration. Packet pickup occurs the evening before and on race morning; shirts and add-ons have separate ordering deadlines and no bib transfers or refunds are permitted.
