Planting Fields Foundation Halloween Spooktacular Fall 5K - Event details
The event takes place on October 25, 2025 at Planting Fields Arboretum, 1395 Planting Fields Road, Oyster Bay, NY. The event runs rain or shine and all park fees are free for entrants. Proceeds benefit the Planting Fields Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that stewards the site and its programs.

Features and participant information
The first 200 finishers will receive a commemorative finisher medal. The course is described as a scenic 5K through gardens and trails at peak fall bloom. Additional on-site features include a hydration station (sponsored), live DJ music, food trucks, free guided tours of the historic Main House, hands-on fall-themed crafts, costume fun with crowd voting, and post-race awards. Participants receive a personalized bib when registered three weeks in advance. Registration fees are non-refundable. Bib pickup is available onsite on race day.
