About the race
The Pizza Run in Phoenix is a charity running event organized to benefit Desert Mission Food Bank. It is presented by Run Your Race and takes place at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018, with overflow parking at the Lutheran church north of the park off 56th Street. Registration closes Friday, January 22, 2027 9:00 PM (GMT-7). The event is limited to 250 participants.

Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $20 for the Kids 1 Mile, with prices increasing by $5 on January 4. All participants receive a custom Pizza medal and a slice of Papa Johns pizza. T shirts are not included; last year’s shirts are available at the race for $10 while sizes last.
The 5K is chip timed and includes age group awards in 14 categories plus a free raffle drawing. Water, snacks and popsicles will be provided. The kids run is untimed; children may run one mile or less to earn a finisher medal and a special treat, and parents may run with their child for free. A virtual 5K option is available; the kids race is not offered virtually. The course is mostly flat along the canal and includes a short non paved trail section.
