Pizza Port Brewing Co 5k Fun Run
This event is an untimed 5k fun run that starts and finishes at Pizza Port Imperial Beach, located at 204 Palm Avenue, Imperial Beach, CA 91932. The course is open to runners, walkers, and joggers and follows a clearly marked route through the surrounding neighborhood.
Roads remain open during the event, so participants must follow all traffic laws. The gathering at the taproom includes post-run activities such as music, games, prizes, and partner giveaways. The event operates rain or shine; if running conditions are unsafe, the brewery gathering will continue without the run. There is no bag check, and dogs and strollers are allowed with appropriate care. Participants under 21 receive a nonalcoholic beverage instead of an alcoholic beverage.
Registration includes one craft beer from Pizza Port Brewing Co at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag such as a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item, and access to event merchandise and other on-site offerings. Ten percent of proceeds from the event support local nonprofit organizations, including East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate, and Alma Family Services. The event is organized by the California Brewery Running Series and follows the series format of combining a short community run with brewery amenities.
