Pittsfield Balloon Rally’s Frank H. Donovan 5K
The event is a 5 kilometer road race held in Pittsfield, New Hampshire as part of the Pittsfield Balloon Rally on August 2, 2026. The course is certified USATF No. NH22009BK and uses professional chip timing provided by Granite State Race Services.
The race starts just beyond the bridge on Barnstead Road and finishes in the center of Drake Field. Participants can park along Barnstead Road and pick up race packets or register at the gazebo inside Drake Field. Porta potties are available on Barnstead Road and inside Drake Field.
Cash prizes of $100 are awarded to the top male and top female finishers, and awards are given in each age category. New this year, participants who register by July 20 receive a 1/4 zip long sleeve pullover. Online registration closes on July 30; day of registration is available at the gazebo for a cash only fee.
All proceeds benefit the Frank H. Donovan Scholarship Fund to support local high school students pursuing post secondary education.
