US Road Running - Stillwater
The US Road Running event in Stillwater takes place at Boomer Lake Park. The race headquarters is located at Shelter #3, situated on the west side of the lake adjacent to the Boomer Park Splash Pad. Participants should note that the general park address leads to the east side of the lake, so they must navigate specifically to the west side for the start area.
The event offers three distinct distances on out-and-back asphalt or paved paths:
- 5K: This race consists of a single out-and-back loop measuring 3.11 miles.
- 10K: This race requires completing the out-and-back loop two times.
- Half Marathon: This race covers 13.1 miles by completing a specific out-and-back loop four times.
Registration is handled exclusively online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is available at the start location shortly before the race begins. All participants who complete their distance receive a finisher medal.
The event maintains a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Runners are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start of the event to recognize the participants. The race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward series standings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
