Pioneer Run
The Pioneer Run takes place on June 13, 2026 in Brook Park, Ohio. The course starts at the 112th Engineer Battalion Armory (6225 Engle Road) and finishes at the Brook Park amphitheater.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) community run/walk
- Kids Run (1K) loop around Safety Village
The event is free of charge. Registration opens April 6 and closes June 13; registrants who register by June 1 are guaranteed a youth t-shirt size. Youth runners will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
Inflatables and games will be available for children. The city of Brook Park will host its annual "Picnic in the Park" later the same day.
Awards will be presented to the top three male and top three female finishers. The event is organized by the Ohio Army National Guard and the City of Brook Park. Sponsors named for the event include the 112th Engineer Battalion Officers Association, The American Legion Post 610 and MARCs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
