Madison Triathlon

The Madison Triathlon is an Olympic distance triathlon held in Ennis, Montana on July 24, 2027. The course begins with a swim in the Madison River-fed Ennis Lake and has a net descent of 660 feet. The bike leg leads athletes up and over Norris Hill and includes an 800-foot climb. The final 10-kilometer run follows a gradual uphill section to the finish at the Pony Bar.

Most of the course is paved; about 93% is on pavement and any gravel is well packed. Prizes are awarded to the first and second place male and female finishers. The event began in 2012.
