Pint & Pork Scratchings 5

The Pint & Pork Scratchings 5 is a trail running event held in the village of Epperstone, Nottinghamshire. The race covers a distance of 5 miles through undulating countryside and local trails. This charity event raises funds for The Brain Tumour Charity and is currently in its fifth edition.

The course begins and finishes at The Cross Keys pub. The terrain is described as undulating, including a notable hill climb within the first mile of the route. Due to the timing in June, the event utilizes the later sunset to accommodate a larger participant field, with an entry limit set at 375 runners.

Distances available:

  • 5 miles

The race includes specific competition elements. For HP runners, the event counts toward the Road League points tally. Instead of traditional age group categories, the organizers award prizes based on randomly selected finishing positions. Specific awards are also provided for the first male and female finishers, as well as for any new male or female course records. A prize is designated for the running club or group with the highest number of registered participants.

The event location is specified at the postal code NG14 6AD. Participants should note that for the 2026 edition, dogs are not permitted at the event. Online registration is required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
