Pink Pumpkin 5K
The Pink Pumpkin 5K is the sixth annual community Run, Walk, Bike event held in Sibley, Iowa on October 10, 2026. The event is hosted by Avera Medical Group Sibley and Osceola Regional Health Center, with the start line at the Osceola Regional Health Center parking lot. It takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and aims to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Registration costs $20. Registrants who register by September 24 are guaranteed a race t shirt. Registration includes a t shirt, prizes, and post race food and refreshments. Participants may submit the names of breast cancer survivors to be printed on the back of this year’s race t shirt.
Prizes are awarded for best time for male and female in these age categories: ages 0 to 12, 13 to 19, 20 to 35, 36 to 50, and 50 plus. Best Dressed awards are given in three categories: Kid (18 and under), Individual (19 and above), and Team.
The event accepts runners, walkers, and cyclists and maintains route information and past race results for previous years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
