The event supports Pink Lights the Way, a Howland-based organization that assists women during breast cancer treatment. Services and offerings described for supported patients include care packages with items such as mastectomy support pillows and head scarves, mentorship from a breast cancer survivor, meals, and activity boxes for children. The 2023 inaugural Cupcake Walk raised over $40,000 to fund customized care packages and related support.
