Mercy Health Fifth Annual Pink Honor Walk and After Party Celebration
The event is a community fundraising walk held at Mercy Health Springfield Cancer Center in Springfield, Ohio, with an after party at Mother Stewart's Brewing across the street. It is presented by the THINK PINK FOUNDATION and is the fifth annual edition.
Pre-walk activities at the Cancer Center include speakers, a custom photo booth, a DJ, raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing. The walk itself covers 1 mile. The after party is hosted by the THINK PINK FOUNDATION at Mother Stewart's Brewing.
Registration is offered by the organizer with a fee of $35 per individual. This year participants may register as a team; the team with the Most Creative Name and the team with the Most Members will receive an extra surprise on the day of the walk. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after September 15.
Proceeds from the event stay local to support breast cancer patients in Clark and Champaign counties and benefit the following organizations: Breast Cancer Endowment Fund of Clark County, Inc., Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County, Breast Wishes Foundation, Mercy Health Breast Patient Assistance Fund, Pink Ribbon Good and Sisters United for Prevention.
