Pinawa Multisport Weekend - Pinawa, Manitoba
Pinawa Multisport Weekend takes place on August 8 and 9, 2026 in Pinawa, Manitoba. The event is presented by Canaqua Sports and features multiple multisport races over two days, held in Pinawa roughly 1.5 hours from Winnipeg.
Main events include:
- Open Water Swim - 3.0 km
- Free Spirit Triathlon Olympic - 1.2 km swim, 35 km bike, 10 km run/walk
- Free Spirit Triathlon Sprint - 800 m swim, 16 km bike, 5 km run/walk
- Tri a Tri - 200 m swim, 5 km bike, 2 km run/walk
- Aqua Bike - 1,500 m swim, 35 km bike
A Wonder Kids Triathlon is offered for children aged 5 to 10 with free registration; young athletes select personal distances within short swim, bike and run segments, and a finisher keepsake is provided. Age minimums are noted for several events. For the open water swim, an individual kayaker is assigned and a beginner practice session is available.
