Pinawa Multisport Weekend : August 8-9, 2026
Pinawa Multisport is presented by Canaqua Sports in Pinawa, Manitoba (corner of Burrows Avenue and Willis Drive). The event spans a weekend and includes open-water swim, triathlon, and swimrun-style events. Registrants receive event information from the race director after registration.
Races and distances
- Free Spirit - Olympic: 1.2 km swim, 35 km bike, 10 km run (age 14+)
- Free Spirit - Sprint: 800 m swim, 16 km bike, 5 km run (age 12+)
- Free Spirit - Tri-a-Tri: 200 m swim, 5 km bike, 2 km run (age 10+)
- Open Water Swim: 3.0 km
- Wonder Kids: 50/100 m swim, 2/4 km bike, 1/2 km run (ages 5-10)
- Relays and Aqua Bike options available for many events
Additional details
Registration fees are listed for each event; the Wonder Kids triathlon is free. The open-water swim offers assigned individual kayakers and multiple swim heats. Swim caps are provided and mandatory for SwimRun events. Sumarpo Wetsuits is listed as a sponsor for open-water swim and swimrun events. The event also partners with Childhood Cancer Canada.
