Pikeman Triathlon – Wexford
The Pikeman is a Standard Distance triathlon held at Rosslare Beach as part of National Series racing. The swim takes place in the sea with support from kayaks and boats. The bike course runs on open roads with strict safety zones. The run is a two loop course.
The event operates under Triathlon Ireland rules and has technical officials on site. Cut off times are measured from each athlete's individual swim start and are set for each discipline: swim 60 minutes, bike 2 hours 45 minutes, and run lap two 3 hours 30 minutes.
Race services include professional chip timing, a bespoke swim cap, a unique finisher medal, and post race refreshments at a food tent. A medal and swim cap reveal is noted as coming soon. Race numbers can be collected the day before the event or on race morning. Bag drop is located in the registration tent.
Parking is provided in a designated field with marshals to guide vehicles. Parking is approximately 1.3 km from registration and transition, about a 15 minute walk. Competitors are asked not to drive into Rosslare village to offload bikes and to avoid parking in the village centre where cars may be clamped.
