Pikeman Triathlon – Wexford
The Pikeman Triathlon at Rosslare Beach is the Wheelworx Pikeman Standard Distance event and forms part of National Series racing. The course includes a sea swim supported by kayaks and boats, a fast-moving bike course on open roads with strict safety zones, and a two loop run.
The event operates under Triathlon Ireland rules and has technical officials on site. A mandatory race briefing is part of the event schedule. Cut-off times are measured from each athlete's individual swim start: swim cut-off 60 minutes, bike cut-off 2 hours 45 minutes, and run lap 2 cut-off 3 hours 30 minutes.
Entry includes the official Standard Distance race experience, professional chip timing, a bespoke swim cap, a finisher’s medal, and post-race refreshments at the food tent. Race numbers can be collected either on the day before the event or on race morning. Bag drop is located in the registration tent.
Parking is provided in a designated field area and is managed by marshals. Parking is approximately 1.3 km from Registration and Transition, around a 15 minute walk, and competitors are advised not to park in the village centre where enforcement may occur.
