Bieg Lechitów

Piątka Lechitów is a road race organized by Klub Sportowy ALTOM in Gniezno on 20 September 2026. The official distance is 5 km and the course has a PZLA certificate. The start and finish are located at Plac Św. Wojciecha on an asphalt route.

Timing is electronic using chips embedded in the race bibs; bibs must be worn on the front and any modification or concealment may result in disqualification. Classifications use individual net times except for the first 50 finishers. The overall male and female classifications receive material prizes for places one to three; all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Age categories are defined for men and women and there is a separate classification for residents of Gniezno.

Entry is via an online portal and the race has a participant limit of 580. Minimum age to start is 9 years (born in 2017 or earlier). A two hour time limit applies. Entry fees vary by registration phase and include the bib with chip, safety pins, a finish medal and a post-race meal. There is an option to purchase a commemorative shirt for an additional fee and an optional paid service to ship the start package within Poland to an InPost paczkomat.

On course rules prohibit bicycles, roller devices, dogs and walking sticks; route cutting or running with another person’s bib leads to disqualification. Medical aid will be available on site. Organizers do not provide participant insurance; optional insurance can be purchased at registration. Free overnight accommodation in a sports hall is offered for the night before the race; participants must provide their own sleeping gear.
