Phoenix Shamrock 10K / 5K Run/Walk
The Phoenix Shamrock 10K / 5K Run/Walk returns to Tempe, Arizona, for its 10th annual edition. This event takes place at Kiwanis Park and offers multiple participation options for runners and walkers. Participants can choose between several distances and formats:
- 10 km run or walk
- 5 km run or walk
- Virtual run available for participants within the United States
The event is held at Kiwanis Park, located at 101 E Baseline Road. The course is accessible and welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. Pets are also permitted to join as long as they remain on a leash. However, the use of motorized devices, skateboards, roller blades, or skates on the course is prohibited.
All registered participants receive a custom event tech shirt and a commemorative medal. A "Runner's Brunch" featuring fruit, granola bars, water, and Gatorade is provided both before and after the race. For those participating in person, age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in various categories ranging from ages 8 and under to 80 and over.
The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions and provides real-time results and photos through a dedicated mobile app or website.
