Event overview
The Phoenix Shamrock 10K / 5K is the 10th annual running event organized by StartLine Racing. It is scheduled for March 15, 2026, at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona (101 West Baseline Road). The event includes in-person and virtual options and is held rain or shine; there are no refunds for weather-related issues.

Race features and logistics
All participants receive a custom event medal and may choose a custom tech shirt, with a $5 discount available for selecting no shirt. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each listed age group for the 10K and 5K distances (race day participants only). A pre- and post-race brunch will offer items such as granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe (43 S McClintock Drive) and on race day at the park. Mail-in registrations are accepted until March 9, 2026. Virtual registrations are limited to U.S. addresses; virtual race items are shipped after March 15, 2026. Real-time results and photos will be available on the organizer’s results page and mobile app.
The 5K includes a "Chase the Leprechaun" feature: a leprechaun will be on course and any 5K participant who passes the leprechaun and finishes receives a prize. No additional registration is required. No roller blades, skateboards, or motorized devices are allowed on course. Leashed pets, wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are permitted.
