Event Overview
The Phoenix Shamrock event is the 10th annual edition. It takes place at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The event offers a 10K and a 5K distance, both open to runners and walkers. A virtual run option is also available, restricted to US addresses.
Participant Inclusions
All participants receive a custom event medal and a choice of a custom event tech shirt. There is a pre- and post-race "Runner's Brunch" with items like granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade. Real-time results and photos are published online and via a mobile app.
Awards and Activities
Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 10K and 5K distances, for race day participants only. The 5K features a "Chase the Leprechaun" activity where participants who pass a designated runner dressed as a leprechaun receive a prize at the finish line.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Habit Burger & Grill in Tempe (1817 E Guadalupe Road). Race day packet pickup and registration opens at 6:30 AM at Kiwanis Park. The event is leashed pet friendly and welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons.
