Philly Shamrock Run
The Philly Shamrock Run is a St. Patrick's Day themed running event held at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia. The event takes place on a USATF certified route (PA25023NP) that features scenic city views and mostly flat, paved roads with an elevation ranging from 3 feet to 14 feet.
Participants follow a loop starting and finishing on S. Broad Street, passing through Admiral Peary Way, League Island Blvd, and Kitty Hawk Ave. Registration includes a race bib with professional chip timing, an official shirt, and a finisher medal. The event also facilitates team participation, where groups of three can compete based on their combined total finishing time.

The event features a post-race festival that include a beer garden for runners aged 21 and over. This celebration incorporates live music from a DJ, food vendors, and the presence of animals. This race also serves as a benefit for the Philadelphia Zoo.

Packet pickup is held at several Philadelphia Runner locations in the week leading up to the race; there is no bib pickup available on the day of the event.
