Philly Shamrock Run : Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day 5K
The Philly Shamrock Run is a St. Patrick's Day 5K held at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on Saturday, March 13, 2027. The event uses a USATF certified course (PA25023NP) that starts and finishes on S. Broad Street and loops through Admiral Peary Way, League Island Boulevard, and Kitty Hawk Avenue. The course is mostly flat, run on paved roads, with elevation ranging from about 3 ft to 14 ft.
This is the event's second annual edition. Organizers report more than 2,000 participants in 2026 and a 2027 field capped at 3,500 runners. The event benefits the Philadelphia Zoo and is presented by Blue Cheetah, with professional timing provided by Run The Day.
