Philly Ring It On 5K at Memorial Hall, Philadelphia
Philly Ring It On 5K is a professionally timed 5K through Fairmount Park that starts and finishes at Memorial Hall, 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia. The event takes place on Sunday, May 24 as part of Memorial Day weekend and is presented by City Fitness and Run The Day.
The race is open to runners, walkers, and joggers and explicitly welcomes participants across ages and backgrounds, with examples ranging from age 7 to age 94. Organizers expect more than 4,000 participants and note that the first 1,000 registered entrants will receive a free cowbell. The event marks a city celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
Timing is provided by Run The Day using official chip timing. Accessibility accommodations are available and include accessible routes, ADA compliant portable restrooms, accessible packet pickup and viewing areas, participation options for people using wheelchairs or adaptive equipment, guide runner support, service animals in public event areas, and alternative information formats upon request.
