Philadelphia Marathon Weekend
Philadelphia Marathon Weekend takes place November 20 to 22, 2026 in Philadelphia. The event spans multiple races and draws over 30,000 athletes. All courses are USATF certified and the TIAA Philadelphia Marathon is a Boston qualifier event.
Courses pass historic landmarks and neighborhoods, including Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Old City, Center City, University City, Manayunk, Fairmount Park and the Schuylkill River, with a finish at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The weekend includes an expo and an official mobile app for participants and spectators.
Races listed for the weekend include the TIAA Philadelphia Marathon, the Dietz and Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K and the Philadelphia Kid's Run. For 2026, the TIAA Philadelphia Marathon, the Dietz and Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and the organized multi-race challenges are sold out. Registration remains open for the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K and the Philadelphia Kid's Run. The Rothman Orthopaedics 8K follows the Schuylkill River and Kelly Drive and is listed at 4.97 miles, with average fall temperatures around 54°F / 12°C.
