Philadelphia Distance Run
The Philadelphia Distance Run takes place on September 19, 2027 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with in-person and virtual options for two distances. The event is based at 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
Distances offered
- 5K (in-person and virtual)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) (in-person and virtual)
The Half Marathon course uses city streets and includes a long, flat section along the Schuylkill River. The organizer notes that six world records have been broken on this course. The 5K is an out-and-back along Kelly Drive. The 5K can be completed prior to the Half Marathon, but the organizer does not promote or guarantee that registering for both races can be accomplished on race morning.
Registration for entry typically includes race entry, a race tech tee, chip timing with splits, a finisher's medal, and a post race party with one complimentary beer for attendees aged 21 and older. The organizer does not offer refunds, but allows deferral or transfer of registrations for a fee.
Virtual options are available for both the 5K and the Half Marathon. Additional details about the course, expo, corral assignments, and other logistics are provided by the organizer separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
