PH1LL Foundation 5K in Detroit
The PH1LL Foundation 5K is scheduled for Saturday April 4, 2026 in Detroit at 1340 Atwater, located behind the Renaissance Center on the Detroit Riverfront. The event consists of a single 5k run/walk along the Riverwalk and through the Dequindre Cut; a course map is provided by the organizer.
Registration details include a pricing structure and t-shirt guarantee. Early pricing is $25 until March 20, then $30 thereafter. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by March 20 and are available after that date while supplies last. There is no early packet pickup; packet pickup will be handled on race day.
Participants receive bottled water, complimentary healthy snacks, a t-shirt, and a souvenir bracelet. The race is chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are posted during the event and on the event website. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in each listed age group. Age groups are 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and up.
All proceeds support the PH1LL Foundation, which provides financial support, scholarships, and resources for single mothers. Entry fees are treated as donations and are nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
