Perpetua Coast (October 3-4, 2026)
Perpetua Coast is a trail running event staged in Yachats, Oregon, in the Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area. The event takes place over two days and is the third and final race in the Oregon Coast Trail Series. Course terrain includes rocky shoreline bluffs, sandy beaches, headland vistas and moss-draped old growth rainforest around the Cape Perpetua headland, which rises about 800 feet above the Pacific and offers long coastal views. The event supports local high school students through a donation to Waldport High School Cheer and Cross Country teams.

Registration fees vary by distance and by registration period, with listed fees ranging up to $165 and down to $75 depending on event and date. The entry fee covers a fully marked race course, staging venue and parking, chip timing and live results, full service aid stations, medical support and communications, post race food and beverages, custom finisher awards, professional photography and other event services. Race shirts and hats are sold separately and must be picked up at check-in. The event is staged at The Adobe Resort in Yachats; all event parking is there. Friendly, leashed dogs are allowed at the staging area but may be asked to leave if they cause disturbances. The event is held under special use permits from Siuslaw National Forest, Oregon State Parks, the Oregon Department of Transportation and private landowners.
