About the Event
The 8th Annual Perogy Run is held at Kildonan Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event serves as a fundraiser for the Movement Centre of Manitoba, supporting rehabilitation programs for children and adults living with neuromotor disabilities. The event is designated as a wheel, walk, or run, making it accessible to individuals using mobility aids as well as those on foot.
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges to support the center's mission of helping individuals live with greater independence. The event site features a Family Fun Zone which includes a DJ station, a photobooth, and games.
Registration Details
Registration fees are structured by age group:
- Adult
- Youth (13-17)
- 12 and Under
Participants who register receive a race kit that includes miscellaneous giveaways and an official event t-shirt. On the day of the event, registration includes a complimentary meal consisting of either Boston Pizza Perogy Pizza or perogies from Sevala's Ukrainian Deli. Race kits are made available for pick-up on the Thursday and Friday prior to the event at the Movement Centre of Manitoba office on Henderson Highway.
Event Logistics
The start line is located within Kildonan Park near the North shelters. On-site check-in occurs on the morning of the event prior to the official start.
