Perivale 5
The Perivale 5 is a traditional 5-mile road race located in the London Borough of Ealing. Established in 1998, the event is organized by Ealing Southall & Middlesex AC and holds an England Athletics road race license. The competition takes place on a flat, two-lap course that moves through local streets and parks in Greenford.
The race features a unique finish on an athletics stadium track. As the roads remain open to traffic during the event, participants are required to follow marshal instructions and remain aware of other road and pavement users. To reduce environmental impact, the organizers do not provide t-shirts or similar plastic-based giveaways.
Facilities at the venue include toilets and changing areas located within the athletics clubhouse. While a bag drop area is provided, it may not be manned, and participants are responsible for their own belongings. Water is not available along the course route but is provided at the finish line and within the athletics stadium.
The event is open to runners who are at least 15 years of age on the day of the race. The registration fee is £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. A prize bonus is offered for participants who break the established male or female course records.
