Pemberton Trail
The Pemberton Trail races are held on trails inside McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event offers two distance options and is run entirely on desert trails with gently rolling hills. The race provides course support from volunteers and gives awards in overall, masters, and super masters categories.

The 50K has an 8 hour time limit and an early start option is available for 50K runners only. A men's 50K course record time of 2:49:03 was set in 2020, breaking the previous course best of 3:11:55 from 2007.
Registration details provided by the organizer include an early bird pricing deadline of October 31, 2026, a registration close date of January 20, 2027 at 11:59 PM MT, and a race shirt guarantee for runners who register by December 10, 2026. Pemberton Trail is race number 1 in the McDowell Mountain Cup series; participation in additional series races can make runners eligible for series prizes but is not required.
