Run Pelham’s 250th

Run Pelham’s 250th is a 2.5 mile race held on July 4, 2026 to mark the United States 250th anniversary and the Battle of Pelham. The event is organized by American Legion Pelham Post 50 and the Pelham Civic Association in conjunction with the Pelham Half Marathon & 10K.

The race starts near Harmon Avenue at 20 Fifth Avenue in Pelham. Runners and walkers are welcome. All participants receive a short sleeve race shirt and a finisher medal. Overall first-place winners in the men’s and women’s divisions receive $250 each. Age group awards are given for under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+; age-group winners receive a commemorative pint glass.

Registration fees are listed as $43.40 through July 3 and $54.00 on July 4. Bib and shirt pickup is scheduled on July 2 and July 3 at local pickup locations, with additional pickup on race day at the town house. There is a baggage drop at the town house. A water station is available near the midway point and at the finish line; Gatorade and water are also available before the race.

Entrants under 13 must be accompanied by an adult registered entrant. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Dogs, jogger strollers, e-scooters, roller blades, and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
