Pedal N Plod : Berkshire Running Foundation
Pedal N Plod is a biathlon held by the Berkshire Running Foundation in Adams, MA on July 26, 2026. The event accepts two-person teams and solo competitors called Iron Persons, combining a road run and a road bike course.
The event courses:
- Run: 4.15 mile course with a climb in the middle and a long descent.
- Bike: 22 mile course of two 11 mile loops climbing Rt 116 to Wells Rd.
Registration is managed online and fees vary by division, with a lower early rate and higher rates closer to the event. Student registration is free for grades 6 through 12. An online processing fee applies and the event policy states there are no refunds or deferments.
On-site logistics include staging and parking at the Adams Visitor Center. Race support notes include technical shirts awarded to the first 75 teams or Iron Persons, a raffle, refreshments, and a post-race gathering. Proceeds benefit Northern Berkshire EMS.
Race rules and participant guidance state that pets are not allowed, headphones are discouraged for safety, and wheelchairs or disabled push strollers are welcome with prior coordination so accommodations can be arranged.
