Pebble Beach Zombie Run : October 24, 2026
The 12th Annual Pebble Beach Zombie Run is a themed community running event held at 4005 Sunridge Road, Pebble Beach, CA 93953. The course begins and ends at the Pebble Beach Corporation Yard and follows the Fire Defense Roads. The route is clearly marked with mile markers and direction signs, and volunteers and medical personnel patrol the course.
Distances offered:
- 10K Zombie Run - 6.2 miles, labeled Extreme
- 5K Zombie Crawl - 3.1 miles, includes steep hills
- 2K Survivor Stroll - stroller-friendly mile for families
The event includes an Emergency Preparedness Fair with public safety teams, first responders, volunteer groups, interactive displays, demonstrations, and vendors focused on community risk reduction. Participants are encouraged to dress as zombies; the event is described as kid-friendly and zombies with excess gore or violent behavior will be asked to leave.
Registration is limited to 500 participants. All registration fees are non-refundable. Adult registration fees are listed at $28.74; children may register for free but must be accompanied by at least one registered adult. Volunteers receive t-shirts and zombie race dog tags. Registered participants receive a finisher dog tag, a race t-shirt, a race bib with timing chip, and access to post-race food and prizes for fastest runners.
