Pebble Beach Zombie Run
Pebble Beach Zombie Run is a Halloween-themed running and family event held on October 24, 2026, in Pebble Beach, California. The course begins and ends at the Pebble Beach Corporation Yard at 4005 Sunridge Road, Pebble Beach, CA 93953, and uses the nearby Fire Defense Roads.
Available course options include:
- 10K (6.2 miles) Extreme course with unpredictable, haunting terrain.
- 5K (3.1 miles) Fan-favorite Zombie Crawl with steep hills and surprise elements.
- 2K (1.2 miles) Survivor Stroll, stroller-friendly family course.
Participants are organized into staggered waves: Wave #1 for the 10K, Wave #2 for the 5K, and Wave #3 for the 2K. The course is clearly marked with mile markers and direction signs, and volunteers and medical personnel patrol the route.
The event includes an Emergency Preparedness Fair with public safety teams, first responders, and volunteer groups offering interactive displays, demonstrations, and information about disaster readiness. Organizers request that attendees dress as zombies, but note the event is kid-friendly; zombies with excess gore or violent behavior will be asked to leave. Children must be accompanied by at least one registered adult; no drop-offs are allowed.
Registration is limited to 500 participants. Adult registration fees are $28.74, children register for free, and registration fees are non-refundable. Registered participants receive a finisher dog tag, event T-shirt, race bib with timing chip, and access to post-event food and prize awards for top finishers.
