Pearland Veterans Day Walk - HIKE for Mental Health
The Pearland Veterans Day Walk is a community event held at the Pearland Natatorium & Recreation Center parking lot, 4141 Bailey Road, Pearland, Texas. The event includes opening ceremonies inside the Recreation Center gym and a walking route through nearby streets and school grounds that begins and ends at the Natatorium parking area.

- 4k (2.5 mile) loop
- 1 mile option
The route crosses Veterans Drive, proceeds behind the schools to McLean Road, continues north on McLean, turns onto Springfield Avenue, reverses at Spring Circle Drive West, and follows Springfield Avenue back to Veterans Drive before returning to the Natatorium.
Registration fees are stated as $20 in advance and $25 for on-site registration. Children under 17 may be registered at no charge when accompanied by a registered adult. Event shirts are available for purchase during advance registration through a specified deadline and may be sold on the day while supplies last. The first 200 finishers receive the event challenge medal; additional challenge coins may be purchased during check-in.
Opening ceremonies allow only service animals inside the gym. Well-behaved dogs on a non-retractable lead no longer than 6 ft are permitted on the walk.
Proceeds benefit Camp Hope (PTSD Foundation of America), Combat Marine Outdoors, Warrior Refuge, and HIKE for Mental Health, and donations are provided to VA staff at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. HIKE for Mental Health is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports research, stigma-reduction programs, and trail preservation.
