Pearland Veterans Day Walk - HIKE for Mental Health
The Pearland Veterans Day Walk is a community walk in Pearland, Texas that raises funds for organizations supporting veterans and mental health programs. The event begins and ends in the parking lot of the Pearland Natatorium & Recreation Center at 4141 Bailey Road. Registration and opening ceremonies are held inside the Recreation Center gym.
The main route is a 4k (2.5 mile) loop with a shorter 1 mile option. The route starts near the Natatorium ball fields by Veterans Drive, crosses Veterans Drive, proceeds behind the schools to McLean Road, continues north on McLean, turns onto Springfield Avenue, reverses direction at Spring Circle Drive West, and follows Springfield Avenue back to Veterans Drive before returning to the Natatorium.
Registration fees are listed as $20 per person in advance and $25 per person on the day of the walk. Children under 17 may be registered free when accompanied by a registered adult. Event shirts are available for purchase during online registration with a discount before an October deadline; additional shirts may be sold on the day while supplies last.
Ceremony and event policies restrict animals in the gym to service animals only. Well behaved dogs on a non retractable lead no longer than 6 ft are permitted on the walk. The first 200 finishers receive the 2026 challenge medal, and additional challenge coins may be purchased.
Proceeds benefit Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America, Combat Marine Outdoors, Warrior Refuge, and HIKE for Mental Health. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
