Peach Days 10K/5K and Mile Race
The Peach Days races take place at the Peach Days Celebration, City Center Plaza, 58 N Main Street, Brigham City, UT. The event marks the 52nd anniversary of races that began in 1974; the event missed 2020 due to Covid, and 2024 marked the 50th year of running some version of the race.
Distances offered:
- 10K approximately 10 kilometers, about 6 miles
- 5K about 2.9 to 3.0 miles
- 1 Mile for 6th to 8th grade runners
The course has changed over the decades; the original course was about 10 miles and ran around town. The 1 Mile race was added in 2013 for middle school grades, and the 5K was added in 2018. Typical annual participation exceeds 200 runners. Past results are maintained for multiple years.
Registration is online only; cash and checks are not accepted at the venue. Registration prices increase as race day approaches, with a graduated fee structure. Four registration options include combinations of a finishers medal and apparel:
- fee without shirt and with finishers medal
- fee with finishers medal and tech shirt (men's and women's sizes)
- fee with finishers medal and tech shirt (unisex fit)
- fee with finishers medal and hoodie (unisex fit)
There are only 300 finisher medals available. Medal sizing: 3.5 inch for finishers, 4.5 inch for top three in age divisions for the 5K, 10K and 1 Mile division, and 5.5 inch for overall winners in the 5K and 10K. Pre-registered racers may pick up bibs at the start/finish line on Saturday morning, Sept. 12th. Registrants who register by August 19th are guaranteed shirt size availability; certain apparel options and prices change after that date.
