Pawsome Run - Christchurch
Pawsome Run takes place on Sunday 6 September 2026 at Canterbury Agricultural Park, Curletts Road, Hillmorton, Christchurch, New Zealand. The event combines a run or walk with a dog friendly atmosphere and options for in-person or virtual participation.
Distances offered:
- 2.5 km Run/Walk - one lap around the park
- 5 km Run/Walk - two laps around the park
- 10 km Run/Walk - four laps around the park
Every human finisher receives a medal and every dog finisher receives a dog tag. Dogs may register free, but each dog must have at least one registered human accompanying them; all humans must be registered and no dog may enter without a human. Results for human participants are timed and competitive entries will receive finishing results.
The event includes added obstacles for dogs on course and spot prizes at the conclusion. A virtual entry option is available; virtual participants receive the same medal and dog tag by post. On-site registration and event pack pickup are available on the day if space allows. Fundraising is part of the event, with named charity beneficiaries listed and current fundraising totals shown.
