Pawsome Run: Christchurch
Pawsome Run is a dog-friendly run/walk event at Canterbury Agricultural Park in Hillmorton, Christchurch on 6 September 2026. The event offers timed and non-timed options and includes on-site event pack pickup and the possibility of on-site registration if space allows. A virtual entry option is available; virtual entrants receive the same finish items by post.
There are three course distances around the park:
- 2.5 km Run/Walk: one lap around the park.
- 5 km Run/Walk: two laps around the park.
- 10 km Run/Walk: four laps around the park.
Every human finisher receives a Pawsome Medal and every dog finisher receives a Pawsome Dog Tag. Dogs register for free but each dog must be registered with at least one human; all humans must be registered and no dog may enter without a registered human. The event will include some obstacles on course and official timing so competitive results are available.
