Passages 5K For Fathers and Families
The Passages 5K For Fathers and Families is a community sports event held at José Ramirez Field in Cleveland. The event is organized to support the nonprofit organization Passages Connecting Fathers and Families, which provides tools and skills to fathers throughout Northeast Ohio. All proceeds from the event assist the organization in offering its family support services free of charge.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5K distance features MyLaps BibTag chip timing for those who wish to have their performance recorded. The 1 Mile walk is an untimed event. Participants receive an official race t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
Awards are presented at approximately 9:45am following the event. Recognition is given to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as the top male and female participants in several age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
