Pass the Buck Relay at Ashton Court Estate

Pass the Buck is a two person relay held at Ashton Court Estate in Bristol on 8 July 2026 and presented by Southville Running Club. Each team comprises two runners who each complete a 5 km loop, making a total distance of 10 km per team. The course starts near Ashton Court Mansion, follows an uphill zigzag trail to a viewpoint over Bristol, then descends to the handover point for the baton.

Teams must complete the full 10 km within 1 hour 20 minutes. Race headquarters are at Ashton Park School, Blackmoors Lane, Bristol, BS3 2JL; race numbers are available for collection at the HQ. After a pre race briefing participants will walk together from the HQ to the start area.

Entry fee structure is published per runner: £8 for EA registered runners and £10 for non EA registered runners, with team totals shown as £16, £18, or £20 depending on affiliation. All entrants must be 18 or over. Visually impaired runners may run with a guide and mixed teams including a visually impaired runner are accepted. Dogs are not permitted on the course but may be present with spectators at the sidelines. Free on site parking is provided though space is limited and on street parking is not permitted. Toilets and shelter are available at the HQ. Water is available at the finish; participants are asked to bring their own bottle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
