Event Details
The Parley Lake Wine Run 5K is a running and walking event taking place at the Parley Lake Winery in Waconia, Minnesota. The winery is located west of Minneapolis/St. Paul in a landscape of rolling hills.
Registration & Participation
The event is open to participants aged 1 to 99. Registration for participants aged 1-20 has a discounted rate. Walking is explicitly allowed, and participants may use strollers, though the course features uneven ground. Leashed dogs are also permitted.
The race is professionally timed using a chip timing system by J3 Timing, and results will be published online. A virtual participation option is available. Packet pick-up occurs on race day only, starting one hour before the event begins.
Registration includes:
- A t-shirt.
- A shatterproof, collapsible wine glass.
- A finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper.
- A race bib.
- A pour of wine (not included for minor participants).
Awards
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in ten-year categories, presented live on race day. Awards can only be collected on the day of the event.
