Life Style Sports Park West 5k & 10k
The event is a summer evening road race held in Park West Business Park and along the Grand Canal. The course is a clearly marked loop on wide business park roads with a smooth surface and marshals positioned throughout. The start and finish are located on Hume Avenue. The 5K completes one lap and the 10K completes two laps, with a signposted split point for second-lap runners.
Event services include chip timing, a finisher’s medal, finish-line refreshments, post-race photo opportunities, a DJ and a warm-up session. A medal reveal is noted as coming soon. Participants receive 15% off at LSS.
A company competition called the Volkswagen Financial Services Fittest Company Challenge runs alongside the race and awards a trophy to the winning company.
Practical arrangements include official event parking in the Park West overflow car park with signage, and a bag drop located in Park West that accepts one small bag only; items must be collected using the race number and tear-off label. Race numbers were posted to participants who registered three weeks before the event; collection was required for late or overseas registrations and for incomplete addresses. The event enforces a cut-off time of two hours from the race start.
