Life Style Sports Park West 5k & 10k
The event takes place at Park West Business Park with the start and finish on Hume Avenue. Runners can choose between the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is a clearly signposted loop on wide business park roads; the 5K is one lap and the 10K is two laps with a marked split point. The route is marshalled throughout and uses a smooth surface suitable for steady pacing. Timing is by chip and every finisher receives a medal. Finish-line refreshments and post-race treats are provided, and a live DJ creates an evening race atmosphere.
Event services include a supervised bag drop (one small bag per runner, race number required for collection), toilets at the start/finish and along the route, and a water station at about 5 km providing cups of water. Showers and changing facilities are not provided. Headphones are permitted but runners must remain aware of marshals, Gardaí, pedestrians, and other participants.
There is a strict cut-off time of 2 hours. Race numbers are posted to entries meeting the postal cut-off; later or overseas entries must collect numbers at the event. Official parking is available in the Park West overflow car park. The event also features a Fittest Company Challenge with a trophy for the winning company.
