Parcours Champêtre, 5th edition
The Parcours Champêtre is a charity running and family event organized by the Fondation Armand‑Frappier to raise funds for health research and to support the next generation of scientists. It takes place in the Cité de la Biotech in Laval on Sunday 18 October 2026 at 500 boul. Cartier, Laval H7V 5B7.
Two course options are offered:
- 5 km timed race with chip bib
- 1 km family route
Registration is mandatory to access the event site and the courses; registration for the 5 km also grants access to the 1 km family route. Registration benefits include a medal for all participants, dinner and snacks, inflatables, animation by Musée Armand‑Frappier, face painting for children, and a chip bib for the 5 km.
On-site services listed for the event include indoor toilets located 150 metres from the welcome area, free water refill stations, a gear drop zone, first aid, and parking. Families with strollers and dogs are welcome.
Preparation resources provided for the event include a 5 km run program, a 5 km walk program, and a stretching and strengthening program. Those training materials were developed in collaboration with Clinique Alter‑Action. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
