Event overview
The Paper Chase 5K is scheduled for February 28, 2026 in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. The race raises funds to provide free school supplies through the Free 2 Teach program, which supports public school teachers and classroom needs. The course is a partial loop through downtown Huntsville and is USATF certified (code AL18003JE). Strollers are not permitted on the course due to insurance restrictions. The school with the most runners will receive a $1,500 award for library and/or technology needs.
