Paper Chase 5K - Overview
The Paper Chase is a 5K road race scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. The course is a partial loop and is certified by USATF (code AL18003JE). The event raises funds to provide free school supplies through Free 2 Teach, an organization that supports public school teachers. The school with the most runners will receive $1,500 for library and/or technology needs. Strollers are not permitted on the course due to insurance restrictions. The event is planned as an in-person race, rain or shine, and race fees are non-refundable.
