Panther Pride 5K - Beatrice
The Panther Pride 5K takes place on June 27, 2026, in Beatrice, Alabama, at the address 17688 AL-21. The event is organized by the JFS/MCTS Alumni Association, a 501c3 organization. The association runs the event to raise funds for its scholarship program for graduating seniors of J. F. Shields High School.
Two event options are offered:

- JFS/MCTS Panther Pride Virtual 5k Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
Package pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026, at J. F. Shields High School, and virtual participants who chose shipping will receive packages mailed the week of June 22, 2026. Virtual participants may enter their completion time between June 1, 2026, and June 27, 2026.
Registration opens February 15, 2026, and closes May 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30. All proceeds from the 5K support the alumni association's scholarship program and related alumni activities intended to benefit J. F. Shields High School and the local community.
