Panther Cheer Halloween Spirit Run
The Panther Cheer Halloween Spirit Run is held on October 24, 2026, at Elizabethtown High School Panther Stadium, 620 North Mulberry Street, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. The event uses a 2.5K loop around the EHS campus; the kids route is one lap and the 5K is two laps.

- 5K timed run/walk, two laps of the campus 2.5K loop
- Kids 2.5K free fun run/walk, one lap, ages 12 and under
The timed 5K has a registration fee of $35 through October 23 and $40 on race day; applicable RunSignUp processing fees will be added at checkout. Participants registered by October 4 are guaranteed a race shirt while supplies last. The 5K registration includes an official race bib, professional timing, posted results, post-race water, and light refreshments. The kids event is free but requires registration; every child who finishes will receive a Halloween candy bag, and a responsible adult must remain onsite for each child. Race shirts and finisher medals are not included with the free kids event.
Awards and a costume contest are presented at the 50-yard line, with categories for overall male and female 5K winners, best individual costume, best group or family costume, and best kids’ costume. There are no age-group awards or finisher medals.
Participant parking is available at Memorial Methodist Church with entry from North Miles Street. Walkers, strollers, leashed dogs, and headphones are permitted; bicycles, scooters, skates, and similar devices are not. Costumes are encouraged but must allow safe movement and visibility and may not include realistic weapons or sharp objects. The event is held rain or shine and may be delayed, modified, or canceled for severe weather or other unsafe conditions. Registration fees are nonrefundable; if the event is canceled, fees will be treated as donations to the EHS Panther Cheer Boosters. Proceeds support the EHS Panther Cheer Boosters.
