PANORÁMA TRAIL
The Panoráma Trail is a 45 kilometre trail marathon through the Zemplén hills that links three historic castles: Boldogkő, Regéc and Füzér. The route runs mostly on forest tracks and rough paths, includes technical sections, stream crossings and about 1800 metres of total elevation gain, with approximately 10 percent on paved roads. The organised edition on 2026.10.17 starts at Boldogkő castle and finishes at Füzér castle.
Refreshment and support points are located along the route at roughly 10 km Mogyoróska, 16 km Regéc, 29 km Telkibánya, 39 km Hollóháza and in the finish area. There is a 9 hour overall time limit for the 45 km distance and split cutoffs are enforced at the refreshment points; competitors who miss those times will be removed from the race and the closed refreshment points will not be available.
The event accepts individual runners and 2 to 3 person relay teams, with the same services provided to all entrants. Organisers provide a finisher medal, finisher shirt, warm meal at the finish, festival weekend castle entry tickets and an event race pack.
