Distances

Participants can choose from several distances:

The course is a looped route on varied trails, including rolling singletrack, sand, and rock, with some short, steep, and technical sections. The event takes place in mid-October, when temperatures can vary significantly.

Participant Details

All registered participants receive a long sleeve technical shirt. For the 50 Mile race, one pacer is allowed on the final lap only. Pacers must register, pick up a bib, and remain on foot. The event is cupless, so runners must carry their own hydration system. Aid stations provide water, soda, pickle juice, Hyperlyte Liquid Performance, and various food options.

Post-Race and Awards

Registration includes a hot meal after the race. All 50K and 50 Mile finishers receive a unique belt buckle. All 25K finishers receive a unique hat.

Logistics

Packet pickup is available on the Thursday and Friday before the race at locations in Amarillo and Canyon, Texas, as well as on race morning at the start/finish area. There are designated cut-off times for the 50 Mile and 50K distances. Distance changes or bib transfers are managed through the registration partner, with no changes allowed on race day.
