Paiute Meadows Trail Run, May 8, 2027
The Paiute Meadows Trail Run is a multi-distance trail event held in Susanville, CA, organized by Lassen Land and Trails Trust. The event marks the 30th annual running of these courses around Susanville Ranch Park and nearby single-track trails.
The courses run almost exclusively on single-track and include varied terrain such as towering pines, meadows, climbs and water crossings. Participants are offered multiple distance options:
- 50K
- 50K Relay Leg 1 18.6 miles, Leg 2 13.1 miles
- 30K
- Half Marathon (13.7 miles)
- 4.5 Miler
- 1-Mile Kids' trail race for ages 12 and under
Aid stations follow a cupless format and are stocked with water, Hammer Nutrition Heed electrolyte drink, Hammer gels, bananas, oranges, watermelon, potato chips, pickles, fruit gummies, M&Ms, ginger ale and cola. Feminine hygiene products are available at all aid stations. Aid stations are staffed by community volunteers. Hydrapak Speedcups will be available for purchase at packet pickup.
Race packet pickup is hosted at the Susanville Historic Train Depot, with additional packet pickup at Susanville Ranch Park on race day. Late registration is offered at packet pickup on the designated Friday only; there will be no race day registration otherwise.
