Paiute Meadows Trail Run
The Paiute Meadows Trail Run is the 30th annual trail event held in Susanville, CA, organized by Lassen Land and Trails Trust. Races take place on trail systems around Susanville Ranch Park and surrounding meadows and forests on May 9, 2026.
Distances offered include:
- 50K
- 50K Relay
- 30K
- Half Marathon (13.7 miles)
- 4.5 Miler
- 1-Mile Kids race for children 12 and under
Most courses run almost exclusively on single-track trails through forests and meadows. The routes include a variety of terrain with climbs and water crossings, and portions of the race follow multiple loops. Relay teams use two legs: Leg 1 follows the 30K route for 18.6 miles and Leg 2 covers the second loop of the 50K course, approximately 13.1 miles.
Race packet pickup is hosted at the Susanville Historic Train Depot on Friday, May 8, with late registration available at that pickup only. Packet pickup is also available on race morning at Susanville Ranch Park. There is no race day registration.
This event is cupless. Aid stations are stocked with water, Hammer Nutrition Heed, Hammer gels, fruit, snacks, soda, ginger ale, and basic electrolytes; feminine hygiene products are also provided. Hydrapak Speedcups are available for purchase at packet pickup for $5.
