About the race
The 14th Annual Paint the Town Pink is a family friendly color run/walk held on October 3, 2026 in downtown El Dorado. The event features a 5K Color Run/Walk that follows a route through the downtown area near the corner of Elm and Jefferson. The year's theme is "Surfin' for a Cure!"
The event is presented to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month and supports the TeamCorrie Cancer Foundation. Proceeds are used to provide monetary grants to Union County residents to help offset medical expenses related to cancer treatment. The event includes the Leslie Darden Memorial 5K with awards for first to third place finishes in both male and female divisions; this is not an official timed event.
