Paint the Night Pink 5K - Arkadelphia
The City of Arkadelphia will host Paint the Night Pink 5K on Thursday, October 1, in downtown Arkadelphia to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and bring the community together in support of those affected by breast cancer.
The event will feature a color 5K run and walk, community health and resource booths, local vendors, music, and activities for all ages. Admission to the vendor and community resource area is free and open to the public. Participation in the color run and walk requires registration.
Registration fees are $25 through Sept. 4 for early registration, $30 through Sept. 20 for standard registration, and $40 on race day. Each registered participant will receive race entry, an official race bib, a commemorative event T-shirt, and a participant swag bag.
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity to raise awareness, connect people with local resources, and offer support to community members affected by breast cancer.
