Wild Hope Trail Race
Wild Hope Trail Race takes place at White Oak Lake State Park near Bluff City, Arkansas. The event offers multiple trail distances and a separate ruck division for the half marathon. Registration closes Wed, Jul 8 at 11:59 PM CT.
The course runs through bottomland hardwood and pine forest and follows sections of the lake shoreline. Trail surfaces include sandy singletrack and other natural trail terrain. Runners will encounter technical sections as well as smoother stretches.
Held in July, the event notes hot and humid summer conditions typical of Southwest Arkansas. Heat and humidity are expected to affect effort and pacing on every distance.
Proceeds from the event support church planting and tabernacle construction projects in West Africa. The event describes the fundraising purpose as part of its mission.
