About the race

The Paderborner Osterlauf is presented as Germany's oldest road race and is held in Paderborn on Holy Saturday. The event reached a new participation record of 15,070 starters in 2026 and in recent editions has drawn more than 14,000 runners from multiple nations, with tens of thousands of spectators along the course.
