The Bürener Volkslauf is an annual running competition that offers various courses for different age and performance groups. The races include the 200-meter Bambini run, 800-meter children's and student runs, 5-kilometer corporate and public runs, as well as more challenging courses such as the 10.3-kilometer PP public run and the 17.5-kilometer FTF Sander public run. The event takes place in the picturesque surroundings of the Afte Valley and features both paved and more demanding routes with elevation changes.
